Hi, I'm Alexa Loryn!

I’m a creative writer, designer, and artist. As the years have passed I have seen the power of prayer and the importance of praying according to the word of God.

I’m a sinner saved by grace who cannot live one day without Jesus. He teaches me daily the meaning of “the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding” (WEBBE, Philippians 4:7). When I was 10 years old I had my first panic attack and for years battled anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts that led me down very dark paths in my life.

At 21, I got baptized and sought God whole heartily; but, I identify with Paul when he says “for I don’t understand what I am doing. For I don’t practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do. But if what I don’t desire, that I do, I consent to the law that it is good. So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.” (WEB, Romans 7:15-17).

Though we may not be sinless, as we seek God daily he will help us sin less.  pray the words on these pages encourage you and help you walk in the same power and authority as Jesus Christ (John 14:12; 2nd Corinthians 12:9) without condemnation and without shame “being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (WEBBE, Philippians 1:6).
